From 1967-77, Wonderama was the most popular children's show on television with its record high ratings and a seven year waiting list for tickets. It was a Sunday morning ritual for 70% of all TV viewers.

In the show's final years, the station's management did all they could to sabotage it. They shortened its running time, programmed it earlier in the morning, and removed much of host Bob McAllister's trademark skits and songs, replacing them them with annoying new characters which Bob hated.

Shockingly, Wonderama was cancelled out-of-the-blue on Christmas Day 1977 and Bob's contract was not renewed. The station then aired reruns of the show, editing out all of Bob's celebrity interviews and replacing them with old cartoons.

This documentary takes a look back at this "lost" children's show as well as, what happened at the end of its run.
